Our Company
Macrolab Asociados Ltda. is a company dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of dental floss. We are located in Medellín Colombia, and have more than 20 years of experience in the dental floss industry.
We are specialized in the production of dental floss for multinational companies such as Colgate Palmolive as well as private label companies, retail stores and supermarkets with their own brands and according to their own requirements and specifications.
Our primary clientele is the Colombian market with exports to North and South America and the European Common Market.
Materials:
Our products are produced with the best quality materials of the market. Our customers can choose from three types of floss: Nylon, Polyester and PTFE
Nylon and Polyester Dental Floss: These threads are composed of many strands (multifilament). We can manufacture floss to different thickness levels to fit in tight spaces or wide gaps between teeth allowing removal of plaque even in areas that are not easily reached.
Our dental floss threads can come with texture, rounded or in tape.
Polyester thread comes in white, red, green, pink or black colors.
We also offer single filament PTFE dental floss. This floss provides a broader cleaning surface to effectively remove plaque and still slide easily between teeth. Shredding is almost non-existent with this type of floss material.
Flavors:
Dental floss come in a variety of flavors such as Mint, Spearmint, winter mint, cinnamon, Bubble gum, strawberry, orange, etc.
All our products can be made with the customer’s brand, logos, and corporate information, or can be presented with our own brand name and the customers’ specifications.
Certifications
We are certified by the FDA as dental floss manufacturers.
In 2003 we had our quality system certified by ISO 9001 – 2000.
At a national level we are certified by INVIMA (which is the agency the controls food and drugs in Colombia, similar to FDA) as manufacturers that comply with all hygienic and quality requirement for the production of personal hygienic products. |
