Shanghai Newgenco Bioscience Co., Ltd., which is located in Zhangjiang High-Tech Zone, Pudong, Shanghai—the financial center and “medical vale” of China,founded by several people who obtained their Ph.D. in a biotechnology-related field at leading universities either abroad or in China, is a biopharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, and markets dietary supplements and Chinese Traditional Medicine(CTM) drugs for improving the care of patients with major metabolic diseases. Our strategy is to take advantage of the latest discoveries in the molecular biology of human metabolic diseases to guide our product development. One area of our intense interest is to identify natural sources that contain compounds with known or projected therapeutic benefits for metabolic disease patients and subsequently develop dietary supplement and CTM products from these sources.
The Company is presently focusing on the development of drug candidates and dietary supplements for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, obesity, heart attacks, strokes, osteoporosis and other cardiovascular diseases.
