CHILL ROLLS FOR ROLLING MILLS.

The rolls are double poured duplex rolls and are manufactured by the advance centrifugal process. Duplex rolls have the advantage of selecting the harder best performing material on the working surface, which is primarily a Cr-Ni-Mo alloyed chill cast iron & a relatively softer material inside. After casting the rolls are annealed to relieve the internal stresses thus improving the strength of the material. After heat treatment the rolls are proof machined & fitted with Steel shaft to close tolerance.

These rolls are manufactured for section mills producing rounds, squares, flats, Hexagon, Gate Channel as well as mills producing Tor steel and Tmt bars.

We also provide Single poured Chill Cast iron rolls for angle and Channels

The rolls are double poured duplex rolls and are manufactured by the advance centrifugal process. Duplex rolls have the advantage of selecting the harder best performing material on the working surface, which is primarily a clear carbon chilled cast iron or a Cr-Ni-Mo alloyed chill cast iron & a relatively softer material inside. After casting the rolls are annealed to relieve the internal stresses thus improving the strength of the material. After heat treatment the rolls are machined & fitted with spindles from both sides. Fluting is also done on the roll surface as per requirement of the customer.

FORGED ROLLS:

We manufacture forged rolls in the grades M.S., En8, En9, En19, En24, En31, En42, Etc as per customer’s requirement. Rolls are manufactured up to a diameter of 24” (Max) & maximum Weight of 3 Tonnes.

Most of the rolls being used as roughing rolls for rolling mills and for rolling heavy sections

ADAMITE ROLLS

These Rolls are special hyper-eutectoid steel rolls alloyed with Nickel, Chromium & Molybdenum. The extra Carbon and special alloys give extra wear resistance and strength.
These rolls are statically cast and undergo a special high temperature heat treatment process of double annealing followed by tempering cycles to give a micro structure consisting of fine pearlitic matrix with spherodised / broken carbide.

These Rolls are suitable for rolling medium and heavy sections where resistance is very important along with considerable amount of strength and toughness. These rolls are also used for roughing stands of strip mill

GEAR COUPLING & GEARS

Gear Couplings are used to couple two shafts.
Advantage of gear coupling over rigid flange coupling being that
· A slight misalignment is permissible between the two shafts.
· Considerable reduction in the jerks as compared to those, which exists in flange coupling.
· Longer life
Gear for pinion gearbox and reduction gearbox
Gears are manufactured in grades En9, En19, En24 as per design requirement.

FIBRE BEARING

Fibre Bearings are moulded from Plastic Laminate of select Cotton fabric, bonded with phenol Formaldehyde Resin. It has wide Industrial Applications
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS
1. The very low coefficient of friction, when wet, it enables reduction in POWER consumption.
2. Being highly resistant to abrasion, it also considerably reduces roll journal wear
3. Its large loading capacity brings about higher efficiency of the machine.
4. Water, the cheapest lubricant, can be used on the Bearings thus dispensing with the costly use of lubricating oils and / or greases.
5. The specific gravity of Phenolic Plastic is 1.36, which is approximately 1/ 5th of any nonferrous metal.
6. Machines using Fibre Bearings have longer services, performance and high production efficiency.

CENTRIFUGAL CASTING:

We also undertake centrifugal casting like bushes, liners, etc as per the requirement of the customers
