FOC R1000 series of fiber transceivers perform conversion from 1000Base-T, Ethernet UTP port to 1000Base-LX or 100Base-SX fiber optic interface, hence extending the range of Ethernet over fiber optic links up to 80KM. FOC R1000 series of fiber optic transceivers is fully compliant with all relevant IEEE802.3x standards. All can operate in 3 modes: full duplex, half duplex and auto-negotiating. The transceivers have found wide applications in the construction of IP MAN and intelligent communities.
