Hebei Jiali Trade Co., Ltd.can suply good qulity of mica. Mica falls into three kinds:biotite,muscovite,phlogopite.
The biotite is black or puce, and some with the color of pink, aqua or other tone. The biotite with high content of TiO2 is pink brown, while those with abundant high quantivalence Fe is green. The biotite is various from transparent to semitransparent with the luster of glass. The cleavage surface of biotite has the luster of pearl. The black ones have the luster of metal. The slice of biotite is flexible, of which the hardness is 2-3, and the specific gravity is 3.02-3.12. The color of biotite is yellow, brown or green under the microscope transmission.

The phlogopites fall in two major kinds: the deep phlogopite (various deepness of brown and green) and light mica (various deepness of light golden). The light phlogopite is transparent and shinning, while the deep phlogopite is semitransparent and with a luster various from glass to semimetal, whose cleavage surface has the luster of pearl. The slice of phlogopite is Insulating, flexible, the hardness of which is various from 2 to 3 and the specific gravity of which runs from 2.70 to 2.85. Under the microscope by the transmission light the color of the slice of phlogopite is brown and golden or colorless.
