The Sierra Wireless AirCard 875 gives you mobile broadband access to e-mail, the Internet, corporate networks, and business applications within Cingular's Data Connect coverage area. You will also get seamless fallback to Cingular's EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks giving the optimal combination of coverage, performance, and reliability in a simple, cost-efficient solution. Laptop applications once limited to wired connections or Wi-Fi hotspots are now possible anywhere you want to work or play.


The AirCard 875 sports a handy LED that lets you know when you have 3G (UMTS) or 2G (EDGE/GPRS) connectivity.
Stay Connected
With tri-band HSDPA functionality, the AirCard 875 provides global wireless data connectivity on the 850/1900/2100 MHz WCDMA bands. The AirCard 875 is designed for HSDPA networks and is backwards compatible to UMTS, EDGE, and GPRS networks. With HSDPA capable networks readily available, the AirCard 875 will allow you to send and receive wireless data at speeds up to 3.6 Mbps. Conversely, If a HDSPA network is not readily available in your area, the AirCard 875 will connect to the fastest available network to keep you online.
Laptop wireless cards from Cingular quickly transform laptops into mobile productivity tools. Part of Cingular's LaptopConnect suite of products, the AirCard 875 lets you stay in touch with family, friends, customers, business partners, and co-workers while on the road using the laptop you already know and use.
To use the AirCard 875's broadband capabilities, you'll need a Data Connect plan from Cingular. You can select from a range of data service plans to fit your needs; with plans that give you an allotment of data usage per month as well as unlimited plans for heavy data users, Cingular offers plans that will work with just about anybody's needs.
Card Design and Features
The AirCard 875 features a high-performance antenna in a rugged housing that includes integrated status-indicator lights while maintaining a low profile design. Manufactured to withstand the demands of constant handling and use, you can choose to keep the AirCard inside your laptop or remove it during laptop storage. Especially beneficial to users in urban areas with high levels of signal noise, the AirCard 875 uses a receive equalizer to reduce UMTS/HSDPA signal interference.
The AirCard 875 seamlessly integrates into Windows-based PC notebooks. The supported Cingular communication manager or Sierra Wireless's Watcher software makes the installation and configuration of the AirCard 875 a snap. And because the AirCard 875 draws low amounts of power when transmitting and receiving data, you won't need to worry about additional management of laptop battery life--a plus when trying to maximize productivity on the road.
