If heated quickly, it melts at 101.5 Degrees Celsius,anhydrous oxalic acid melts at 180 Degrees Celsius.

Applications: Purifying agent in pharmaceutical industry, special in antibiotic medication, such as Oxytetracycline, Chloramphenicol , etc.
