  Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is a fever reducer (analgesic) and a pain reliever (antipyretic). It's used to treat a wide variety of conditions such as headaches, muscle aches, arthritis, backaches, toothaches, colds, and fevers. Paracetamol can be used more for mild arthritis but has none to little affect on the underlying inflammation and swelling of the joint. It's also used for other purposes not listed here.

Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) and works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. It's used to treat pain in minor injuries, mentrual cramps, back pain, toothache, headaches and also acts as a fever reducer.

The combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen act as a fever reducer, pain reliever and an anti-inflammatory.
