XL95A/05B Product Processing

The components of the system should be mixed in the following proportions:
95.0% : Material A
5.0% : Material B
Please note that the level of material B should not be reduced above the recommended content of the formulation. If additional colour masterbatch is used, the content of Material A and Material B should be reduced to insure the same ratio of compound and catalyst as noted above.
Example:
An addition of 3.0% colour masterbatch effects the new formulation:
92.15% : Material A
4.85% : Material B
3.0% : colour masterbatch .
It is very important to understand, that the mixture of graft material and catalyst masterbatch is potentially reactive. Therefore the mixing of these materials should only be done directly before processing them. Already mixed graft and catalyst has to be fabricated during 8 hours.
Inside the barrel the cross-linking process will start slowly. Here all the necessary elements to speed up the reaction are present. ( E. g. the cross-linking catalyst, elevated temperature and moisture is present drawn in from the environmental air )

The XL95A/05B is mainly used in pipes of the following applications:
domestic hot and cold water
automotive and ship-building
air-conditioning systems
transport of gases, compressed air and fluids (including fuel oil, gases, acids etc.)
under-floor heating
process engineering and other specialized applications
central heating

Packaging & Storage

Our XL95A/05B series products are available in 25 kg bags(Material A: 23.75 kg, Material B: 1.25 kg).
All the packaging is done using moisture resistant aluminium/PE barrier linings, which could prevent the entrance of water vapour from the environment and insure the high quality of the products.
XL95A/05B series products can be stored for up to a maximum of nine months, provided that:
the packaging is opened only shortly before processing
the packaged product is not exposed to direct sunlight
the product is processed immediately after being opened
Besides, our products are low temperature resistant, which could effectively delay crosslinking under low temperature, for package broken caused by accident when transporting, product quality could be assured as long as stored in a cool and dry place, and used up within 1 month.
