  The product is extracted from the thyroid gland of healthy porcine, bovine, sheep and other animals for food. It is made by the processing of removing connectivetissue and fat, mincing, dehydrating, degreasing, drying under temperaturebelow 60 degree Celsius and porphyrizing. Our company uses the high quality porcine thyroid gland which is free from oil and impurities freshly collected from large-scale slaughter. We professionally manufacture Thyroid Powder withseveral kinds of specifications. The content is from 0.4% to 0.75%. It is mainlyused as API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), pharmaceutical raw materialsor for extracting thyroxine. Our company provides high level pure Thyroid Powder(content 0.6% to 0.75%) without diluents. Our company provides high levelswithout diluents pure Thyroid Powder (content 0.60% to 0.75%). Since it has no other debris, using to extract thyroxine can have high yield and low consumption.

Properties: This product should be light yellow powder, slightly meat smelly.

MainSpecification: The compound iodine which only belongs to thyroid gland shouldbe 0.27% to 0.33%.Fat should not exceed 30 mg/g. Loss on drying is not morethan 6.0%. According to test results, high iodine content of this product canbe diluted to meet standard by adding lactose, sucrose, sodium chloride orstarch.
