  HWDP is a type of drill pipe with thick walls and collars are longer than conventional drill pipe. HWDP tends to be stronger and has higher tensile strength than conventional drill pipe. It provides a flexible transition between drill collar and drill pipe along with additional weight to drill bit.


1. Material: AISI 4145H Alloy steel, Non magnetic steel, etc.
2. Use: It is mainly used between dill collar and dill pipe to ease transition stress concentration and reduce the rate between contact area and outer wall wear, which can effectively prevent the pressure sticking.
3. Standard: API Spec 7-1 or SY/T 5146 Standard.
4. Inspection&Test: When producing, traceability are maintained from the receipt of raw material to completion of final products, and serial numbers are die-stamped on each workpiece body. During each manufacturing process, inspection and test are performed.
