  GTY serials are non-asbestos and solvent-free fiber composite gasket material which are composed of organic fibers including cellulose, non-asbestos mineral fibers, nitrile butadiene rubber binder, mixed fillers and functional additives which are made through a Fourdrinier papermaking (i.e., beater addition) process. GTY serials exhibit high compressibility and excellent crush resistance, and are recommended for sealing oil, fuels and water, especially in applications such as small engines, compressors and automotives.  GTY serials are intended for applications with intermittent maximum temperatures up to 180ºC
