Being established in 1953, Guangdong Metals & Minerals Import & Export Group Corporation (GDMM) is one of the specialized foreign trade corporations that was founded the earliest in China.After its development for over half century, our group corporation has established trade relations with thousands famous enterprises in more than 120 countries and regions of the world,and its import and export value has accumulated to about ten billion U.S. dollars. GDMM is specially entitled to import various kinds of steel products and non-ferrous metals, and its main export commodities are: cement, sand, stone, building materials, ferrous metals and their products, non-ferrous metals, non-metallic minerals, hardware, silver plated ware and ornaments, metal casting, plumbing fittings, arts & handicrafts, etc. At the same time it also deals in the import and export of textiles, light industrial products, machinery, chemicals, electrical products, equipment & instrument, recreation and sports products, etc. It also operates inland trade, factory production and processing, property lease, storage and transportation, joint venture, cooperative production, import and export agency, barter trade, processing with clients’ designs, samples or materials, compensation trade, re-export trade, etc.
For many years, GDMM has laid stress on the industrial development and has set up its own production base of the products such as steel products, cement, construction hardware, stainless steel products, and silver-plated wares, etc. It has also established good business relations with hundreds of enterprises all over the country and has formed its complete production and sale system for export commodities.
In Guangzhou, GDMM has five large warehouses GDMM owns five warehouses covering a total indoor and outdoor storing area more than 200 thousand square meters, all with advantageous geographical position, all of them have conveniet water and land traffic and are well equipped with loading and unloading facilities, all can supply the coordinate logistices services. Among them there are three warehouses with their wharves, from here the goods can be loaded on ship and exported to Hong Kong or Macau directly.
